Bluebell Walk Friday 24th April 10am - 12pm Every Spring the whole of LLL GB take part in sponsored walks in local beauty spots around the UK, timed to make the most of the bluebell season. All the money raised is used to help mothers and babies who come to LLL for support.
LLL Kingston are planning a sponsored walk on Friday 24th April 2020 in Bushy Park, meeting at 10am at the Cafe in the Pheasantry Plantation, Bushy Park, and aiming to start the walk at 10:30am. The plan is to take a short, buggy and toddler friendly, stroll around the Woodland Gardens in the Pheasantry Plantation. It's a beautiful spot, enclosed to protect it from the deer in the park, with beautiful bluebells as well as lots of azaleas too. The route is circular, flat, very accessible to all and takes us back to the Pheasantry Cafe https://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/bushy-park/food-and-drink/pheasantry-cafe
LLL are asking £5 from each family to take part and also to ask their own family and friends for sponsorship if possible. LLL GB receives no government funding and our main source of income is from membership and donations. Without fundraising, LLL simply wouldn't be able to provide all the wonderful resources that we do, from running the LLL National Helpline, training new Leaders, and providing a website and fully resourced breastfeeding leaflets. Donations can be sent to our PayPal account [email protected] as "friends and family" or cash in our blue collection tin on the day. Thank you so much for your support and please feel free to join us whatever you are able to donate.
